I have a Magnavox DVD recorder ZC230EM8
Can I for recording and playback, but when I try to use other DVD players work ... Any help, there is a kind of DVD recording, which I used for this application?

It is a widespread problem. I noticed that DVD-RW recorder, which have been made about who will play, but not much more reliable. DVD-R seem to be the best for compatibility with other players.
Even if you use a DVD-R, make sure you "finalize" the disk - which it can be played on other players.
